What reviewers say about Bouza

2020 Bodega Bouza Tannat, Uruguay, Wine Review
The nose is nice with black raspberries and char. Creamy texture. Medium tannins. The palate matches the nose with black raspberries and char. Good finish but a bit of heat. Grade: A- Score: 90

Uruguay makes its mark with Bodega Bouza
I tasted seven Bouza wines and found all of them well-made and attractive, the whites especially appealing. 4/5 90/100 for Albariño 2023; 4.5/5 93/100 for Cocó Chardonnay Albariño 2021

Wine Tourism: Bodega Bouza in Montevideo
All the Tannat based wines have aging potential to improve. All the wines, except perhaps the Merlot, were 90+ point wines for me. Favorite: 2019 Bouza Pan de Azucar Tannat

About this listing

Headquarters and manufacturing are recorded separately, because they are often different places: a brand headquartered in one country frequently manufactures in another. Tabarnam lists what the catalog holds and marks the rest unknown. Entries come from public sources and may be incomplete or out of date — production moves.
