Chacewater 2012 Malbec (Red Hills) Rating and Review
Deep color, firm tannins and a fine-grained texture set this wine apart. It smells fresh and sophisticated, with bright cranberry and rich black-cherry notes shaded by cinnamon and nutmeg. This should stand up to the richest rack of lamb and age well, too.
Chacewater 2019 Limited Cabernet Sauvignon (Sierra Foothills) Rating and Review
aromas of dark berries, black currant confiture, dried florals and earth. The palate then opens to dark cherry, boysenberry and spiced brûléed orange segments, switching into vanilla cream, dried herbs, dark chocolate and coffee.

Bright aromas of quince and oak spice kick things off and a bright palate that adds bold barrel character continues the story. The finish wraps it all up nicely, leaving a kiss of oak toast and quince lingering long. This is a fine cocktail wine, or try it with Ensenada style lobster.
