The overall profile for the J.C. Newman The American Double Robusto was pretty average throughout with some slight transitions that never took the cigar to a higher level. In my opinion, this is not the best vitola for the line.

This is a very good cigar, but the “all-American” origins definitely come out in the price tag. I would definitely recommend this cigar to fans of medium-bodied, full-flavored cigars.

Overall, I found the J.C. Newman Brick House Mighty Mighty maduro to be a fair mild to medium cigar that had pronounced spice notes with plenty of undertones and shifting aromas that made it a fairly complex smoke. I rate this a 89.
