Notebook Review: Leuchtturm1917 Hardcover A5, Metallic Edition
The Leuchtturm 1917 Metallic is a hardcover notebook in A5 size. It mostly looks and feels like another notebook that I really love: my well loved and slightly worn Rhodia Goalbook. Both are A5, and feature about the same number of pages, the extras (bookmarks, pockets and elastic).
Leuchtturm1917 A5 dot grid comparison: standard, 120 gsm, Bullet Journal
Standard — cheapest one, thinnest and lightest with the most pages. 120gsm – when in doubt, get this notebook. It’s got the best paper for the least amount of money of the three.
Notebook Review: Leuchtturm 1917 A5
None of the ink bled through. This notebook is a great size, handles all inks, watercolor, and pencils well, and has a nice sturdy cover. It also has a table of contents, numbered pages, and labels for the cover.
Headquarters and manufacturing are recorded separately, because they are often different places: a brand headquartered in one country frequently manufactures in another. Tabarnam lists what the catalog holds and marks the rest unknown. Entries come from public sources and may be incomplete or out of date — production moves.
