The Motic microscopes are excellent for the money... quality to price ratio, which is one of best I have encountered. I purchased a Motic 310 polarizing microscope - the price was 25% of what Nikon and other companies quoted me.

Motic microscopes are the best microscopes for the money currently available... about quarter of the cost of a Zeiss, Nikon or Olympus and about 75% as good.
