The Naturist is an unapologetically dry cider. It smells like soft worn-in leather, overripe apple, green grape, citrus and minerals. Something about it is both salty and funky. Overall, it’s a wild interplay of austerity and citrus.

That serendipitous moment of chance brought New York Cider Company, the cidery Steuer and his partner, Steve Daughhetee, more than 200 online orders in one week. The company did 30 online orders all of 2018. Their usual UPS driver had to call his manager to make sure it was true.
