RTM SM900 Tape Review - Professional Audio Recording
I definitely recommend the RTM SM900, and I'll be using more of it in the future. It does everything I want tape to do by imparting a bit of subtle compression, packaging the bottom end nicely, and adding some light coloration and glue to the mix.

Comparing 1/2 reel tape for analog tape machines
The beautiful RTM SM 911 tape is very flat, adds very little color... The RTM SM900 reel tape however... is the holy grail of tape quality. This tape is smooth... It has what I describe as a 'silk top' and it adds a character that is unmatched.
