Red Stick Spice Co. opens newly renovated teaching kitchen with artist-designed finishes
Red Stick Spice Co. just got even better. As if the rows of kitchenware, herbal teas and spices from around the world weren’t enough, the gourmet spice shop has expanded into the vacant space next door and added a new, improved teaching kitchen.
Just your cup of tea
What began simply as retailing teas from small blending houses grew into a gourmet creative experiment for owner Anne Milneck and her team. Nearly a quarter of Red Stick’s tea selection is now mixed in-house. And it’s not just individual customers who are stopping by to try a cup.
Home plates: Anne Milneck’s Red Stick Spice Company is adding fuel to the family dinner
In 2013, Milneck purchased Red Stick Spice Company from the shop’s founding owner and began offering house-blended spices, infused olive oils from California estates, and a variety of whole-leaf and blended teas. She sources produce locally from Luckett Farms and Fullness Organic Farm.
Headquarters and manufacturing are recorded separately, because they are often different places: a brand headquartered in one country frequently manufactures in another. Tabarnam lists what the catalog holds and marks the rest unknown. Entries come from public sources and may be incomplete or out of date — production moves.
