After 5 months and a few thousand miles, the Skyjacker 2.5″ lift has performed well. The slow steering becomes far less of an issue, the suspension cycles smoothly and does a good job of absorbing the bumps.
Thoughts on Skyjacker lifts?
My Skyjacker lift which I bought used has served me well over 20k miles. Even tire wear, no death wobble, drives straight. The 4.5 kit with monotubes drives better than stock on roads, highways, off road.
Why Do People Dislike Skyjacker Lifts?
Their lifts ride like crap, and it's almost entirely due to the crappy shocks that come with their kits. Rough Country, Skyjacker, and the other cheap brands all use garbage quality shocks.
