This is the most sumptuous and elegant chess set I've ever owned. It's incredible to think that every piece is made one at a time, and in particular the knights are completely handmade, meaning every set it distinct and no two are entirely alike.

Purchased these for my son's birthday. As a woodworker, I thought of turning/carving chess pieces myself, but decided to order these instead. When I received them, I was amazed at the detail, weighting, finish, and overall quality.

I am not overstating it when I say this has to be the best plastic chess set in production the world over. They look real, are superbly made, and are nicely weighted.
